I’d like to introduce you all to Jeff. He’s a CPA living in Sacramento, California. I met him a few months ago via Twitter. I read every one of his blogs on Lifestyle Accountant and thought to myself, there’s an accountant I have to meet. So I hit him up and we Skyped a couple times. On my recent trip to San Francisco we met in person and visited the Xero office together. We concluded that there was a good cultural fit and Jeff would make a great addition to the Accodex crew. In true Australian style, we sealed the deal over a Coopers Pale Ale.
If you stalk him on LinkedIn, you will see that Jeff studied accounting at Sacramento State and obtained his CPA License in 2009. His 10 year career has ranged from government, public practice and the corporate sector. He’s now practising in his home town of Sacramento and is going to continue blogging. He chose Accodex because our cloud technology will enable him to travel and work remotely. On joining Accodex, Jeff says on his blog, “I wanted to join something bigger than myself. More than just becoming a freelance accountant with an hourly rate. I want to be a part of a valuable network of entrepreneurial accountants.”
The partnership will help Accodex better serve its American clients, and will open up an exciting new market for the company.
